Hi, I’m Jess
I’m a 22 year old student from Gloucester studying at Oxford Brookes University, currently in the middle of an MSC in International Events Management. I completed my undergraduate degree in History, graduating with a 2:1 (Honours) also from Brookes.

I am aiming to get finally get a job when I graduate, instead of delaying adulthood by more studying. My passions include music and sport but I am willing to try most things and genres of events. I hope to use the skills I have gained from six years work in hospitality including teamwork, working in a fast paced environment, customer service etc. My experience includes bar staff at Gloucester Rugby, four years with Green King and a current Front of House position with Wagamama. Having worked in hospitality long weeks and weekend work does not faze me as I have had limited weekends for many years. Working and completing my studies at the same time, was challenging and forced to me develop time management skills and partake in many late nights and early mornings completing work.
I am a sport fanatic! I love rugby ( especially Gloucester Rugby and Wales) and NFL (Chicago Bears), but I will happily watch any sport or attend any live sporting events. I partook in various sports as a child including netball and Jujitsu. I also love fitness and have a keen interest in the gym and exercise. I mainly use it to keep myself sane and a place to relax. Climbing walls are also amazing fun and something I wished did more.

I love to spend time with family and friends having a laugh. Within my friends I’m quite outgoing, straight talking and always willing to do ridiculous, fun and different things.

Within my family I am the youngest sibling and the fun aunt to my two nieces and nephew. However I am also the only one who has moved away from Gloucester with no prospect of ever moving bak there. I have always wanted to move to different places and explore new places. Travelling is another huge passion of mine, nothing makes me happier than exploring new countries and cultures.
That is a brief insight in to me! Hope you enjoy by blog and reading about my many very varied interests.
